1. How to activate the scale when first use?

  • Lescale F4 & Lescale F5(Lescale LITE): Activate and Turn on by pressure sensor;

  • Lescale F6 (Lescale MAT) & Lescale P1: Please press "reset" button next to the USB port to activate the scale, then Turn on by pressure sensor.

Note: Lescale F6 (Lescale MAT) & Lescale P1 are set to shipping mode when it leaves the manufacturer to prevent it from being turned on during transit, which will diminish the lithium battery's life. Therefore, when you receive the products, you must first activate the device by pressing the button. IT will turn on by pressure sensor when the shipping mode is turned off.

2. How to change unit from KG to lb?

  • Change units in the Fitdays APP,  navigate to 'Account', then click 'Settings', scroll down and select 'Switch Units ',  and set the 'Weight units' into lb.

    Note: Make sure to change it when the Fitdays APP is connected to your device.

3. How to add more users?

  • From the Fitdays app, navigate to 'Account',  click 'Add User', and then you could fulfill the personal information for the new user. All users will be displayed on your 'Account' page.

4. How to measure the body composition accurately?

  • Step on the scale with bare feet. Body composition cannot be analyzed when having shoes or socks;

  • Keep the soles of your feet are dry and clean. Make sure the surface of the scale is smooth and free of foreign objects;

  • Place the scale on a flat, hard surface. Carpeted or uneven floors may affect accuracye;

  • Stand steadily on the scale. When the value in the App stabilizesor the value on the scale screen flashes three times, the measurement is complete;

  • Make sure that you stand on the correct electrode area;

  • Make sure to enter the correct height and age in order to calculate body composition. For people under 16 years old, the scale can only measure body weight and BMI.

5. Can I move when taking the measurement?

No. It is recommended to stand in the center of the scale with a stable posture during use or testing. The slight change in the standing posture and position on the scale will affect the sensor and resistance value of the scale, which may cause measurement errors.

6. Do I have to take off my socks or socks before measurement?

Yes, your skin must be in direct contact with the electrodes of the body fat scale to be tested. If you test with socks on, the body fat scale current will not flow smoothly, and you will not be able to get the corresponding results correctly.

7. When is the suggested measure time?

It is recommended to take the measurement after getting up in the morning or before going to bed at night when you’re wearing fewer clothes.

Due to the normal metabolism of the human body, a person's weight may differ by about 3.3lbs in the morning and evening. Metabolism will also affect the fluctuation of water and electrical impedance. So we suggest you keep the measurements at the same time every day, which can minimise the deviations that may be caused by natural laws.the normal metabolism of the human body.

8. Is it ok to measure immediately after strenuous exercise or overeating?

No. Before and after overeating, or before or after exercise, the perspiration and breathing of the human body will cause the loss of water in the body, which may cause a relatively large range of fluctuations in the body data measured by the body fat scale.

9. Why the scale is producing inconsistent weight?

  • Check whether the scale is on a hard, flat surface;

  • Check each sensor foot on the back to make sure nothing is stuck to the bottom of it;

  • Remove the batteries to restart the scale.

10. What should I do if the scale doesn't turn on?

Remove the batteries and put it back. Make sure to insert the batteries in the correct direction; Change new batteries once the batteries are out of power.

(If your scale is USB rechargeable version, please switch off the power, and switch it on again. Charge the scale once out of power)

11. Why is the measurement data of your scales different from the measurement of other brand’s scales?

In general, different brands and models of smart scales use different algorithms to calculate body weight and other body composition metrics. Due to these differences, it can be challenging to determine which scale is more accurate than others.

Therefore, it's essential to understand that while the measurements provided by a smart scale are helpful, they should be used as a guide rather than an absolute measure of your body composition. Please keep in mind that there are many factors that can influence the measurements, such as hydration levels, time of day, and the user's posture.

We recommend using a single scale consistently for tracking changes in body composition over time rather than comparing measurements from different scales. This will provide a more accurate picture of any progress you make towards your health goals.

Security Related FAQ

1. Can a patient with a pacemaker use a body fat scale?

No. The use of body fat scales for body composition measurement is prohibited for patients wearing electronic therapy devices like cardiac pacemakers to maintain vital signs.

2. Can a patient with a glucose monitor use a body fat scale?

Yes, since blood glucose monitors are not life support devices like pacemakers, there are no safety concerns. Also, the sensor of the blood glucose monitor is attached outside the body, so the AC current of the body fat scale does not flow through its needle.

3. Can a patient with a cardiovascular stent use a body fat scale for measurement?

Yes, because the heart stent is not made of pacemaker-like electronic materials, no matter its size or placement, it is safe for patients to use a body fat scale for measurement. 

Although some stents are made of conductive metal, their size is generally very small, so there is no impact on the impedance measured by the body fat scale, and body composition measurements in patients with cardiovascular stents can be considered reliable.

4. Is the current flowing during the scale’s measurement harmless to the human body?

Yes, the body fat scale uses weak alternating current in the test and will not cause any harm to the human body.

5. How to clean and disinfect the body fat scale?

In daily life, it is recommended to use an alcohol tablet to gently wipe the electrodes of the body fat scale, part of the cable or the entire device, taking care to prevent liquid from flowing into the device.

We do not recommend the use of cleaners consisting of ammonium chloride, such as benzalkonium chloride or benzyl ammonium chloride, as these cleaners may cause corrosion and discoloration of the device if they come into frequent contact with the scale. Also, if liquids, cleaners, and other materials get into the device, it could cause serious damage to the device.
